This picture was made by Zimbabwean designers and crafters working for The Bead House. Glass beads are individually attached onto the Novalite canvas to create these detailed images of Southern Africa’s plants and animals. Each beaded picture is framed by Shweshwe fabric (which is manufactured in South Africa) as well as a wooden frame that is made of old up-cycled wood. Each handcrafted picture is totally unique.
